I WAS A TREE BESIDE A CREEK
I COULD FEEL MY ROOTS, BRANCHES AND LEAVES
I DIDN’T MISS BEING A MAN BUT THEN YOU CAME
A SELFISH PLAN
I WAS GLAD TO BE DEAD
A GRAIN OF SAND WASHED BY THE SEA
CARRIED BY WAVES
EXISTENCE FREE
I DIDN’T MISS BEING A MAN BUT THEN YOU CAME
A SELFISH PLAN
I REALLY HATE THE IDIOTS WHO BROUGHT ME BACK FROM WHAT I HAD
I WAS AFRAID FROM NOT BEING
BUT IT WAS REALLY THE BEST THING

I'm so glad PP is getting some due and getting out there in the world and playing where others can find and also love them. Bouncy and punky with an edge and a humor that is properly edgy, not just gauche. Richard Weems
A four-track bout between two of Australia's most formidable post-punk groups, fueled by wiry guitar riffs and vibrant, timely lyrics. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 19, 2022
Balancing hooks and abrasion, the debut from Berlin punks Rouge features springy synths, snappy percussion, and insouciant vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable May 3, 2022

I've been into Powerplant for a few years now, but only just got around to listening to this older material and I love it. Proper raw and trashy lo-fi synth punk. Love those programmed drums. Kutkh_Jackdaw
